Research and prepare a report on what you found. Your report can take the form of either a research paper or a recorded presentation (i.e. PowerPoint or Prezi with audio). Make sure in your research that you cover the aspects of “foodways” that we learned in class. You may not choose Philippines or Korea, as those are covered in class.

Explain the type of foods – primary starch, proteins, secondary foods and the flavor principle of your subject. Also share how the food is served, who cooks and any interesting facts on food manners and customs. Remember, foodways always change – include any info on changes that are happening (influx of American fast food, etc).

RESEARCH PAPER: Write a paper in standard written English with a minimum of five pages, double-spaced using Times New Roman 12 pt font. Feel free to add images to your paper, but don’t include the images in the page length. Remember to include a bibliography and use INTERNAL CITATIONS to show where you found the information you used in writing your paper. Failure to cite sources is plagiarism and will result in a failing paper. You may use any academic format – APA, MLA etc.
