In this course you have learned about a wide array of environmental issues, many of which affect your home state. I want to give you a tool to influence change. An important tool we have as citizens is the ability to write letters to the people who represent us expressing our concerns, and asking for the changes we feel we need to better our world.

Prior to responding, please research current environmental issues closest to your home town and/or state (Jackson, MI). Choose one that you feel most passionate about, and that you think requires immediate action from our government leaders. Think about how you frame the issue, what solutions you think they can provide, and why they should care.
