how can you see having these many layers can be complicated for command to make decisions
The Morey situation was a very long and devastating hostage situation. I was working at the time this occurred but was not assigned to special ops just yet. I knew several SWAT folks who responded to this situation (including my spouse who was a State Police SWAT Operator in this incident). This situation had many layers of command (Department of Corrections, responding state, local and county SWAT, FBI, and the list goes on). how can you see having these many layers can be complicated for command to make decisions? How can following NIMS help?
